Coldwell Banker’s Maxine Geller and Eva Meier have quickly risen to become a top sales team in their office since joining forces in August of 2004. Geller and Meier have built their business predominantly by referral, a testament to the high level of satisfaction among their clients. The key to their success lies in their highly personalized way of doing business. “Our clients know they can rest assured that their needs will be responded to personally; they won’t be turned over to an assistant.”
Both individually and since becoming a team, Geller and Meier have repeatedly been members of the International President’s Circle, a designation awarded to the top 10% of all Coldwell Banker sales associates internationally. They are also Certified Relocation Specialists trained to attend to the specific needs of those relocating due to a change in employment.
In addition to their 20 years of combined experience in real estate, Maxine has a background as a paralegal and Eva has a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology. “this impressive team brings diligence, negotiating skill and an intelligent professionalism to every transaction” says their branch manager in the Del Mar Village office Larry Bean.
When not busy serving their clients’ needs, Geller loves attending the theater and traveling, while Meier’s passions include dancing, playing the guitar and being with her two young children. Both are strong supporters of Children’s Hospital, believing that “real estate is not just about buying and selling homes; it’s about giving back to the community.”
A resident of North County San Diego since 1986, Maxine has gained an in depth knowledge and understanding of the San Diego real estate market. Maxine brings with her not only a wealth of experience in real estate but also her multifaceted background as a paralegal and property manager. Her paralegal experience trained her to be thorough and give attention to detail, and while a property manager, she gained a thorough understanding of the complexities of property ownership. Maxine has served on Coldwell Banker;s President’s planning Council for 5 years.
Maxine believes that hard work, dedication, commitment and professionalism are the cornerstones of her successful real estate business. High volume is not her goal. She prefers to give her clients and their transactions personal attention, which always translates into well-informed and satisfied clients who are more than happy to refer her to others.
Eva originally came to San Diego to pursue a graduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. After spending several years earning her PhD and then working in the field, she realized that, as much as she loves research, she wanted a career that offered more personal contact with people and utilized her communication skills and her passion for helping. Representing families and individuals in the process of buying or selling a home presented the perfect opportunity she was looking for.
Having come from background in biological research, Eva is highly detail oriented and understands the importance of tenacity, diligence and follow though. Her ability to “do more than listen but truly hear”, as one client put it, results in blissful buyers and satisfied sellers! She finds it just as rewarding helping young buyers purchase their first home as listing a multimillion dollar property. Her ultimate goal is to be someone that her clients will come back to for all their real estate needs.
